The scarcity of accessible training fields is a significant challenge we face. Most fields are under the ownership of schools and private entities, and securing access often entails exorbitant fees. Consequently, we are often compelled to practice on less-maintained open areas, resulting in uneven terrain that not only limits the effectiveness of our training but also elevates the risk of injuries.
Trainers
While our dedicated staff and guest trainers generously volunteer their time, the growth of our program has brought an increasing number of participants. To maintain the high-quality training and mentorship our youth deserve, we recognize the need to compensate these trainers for their valuable time and expertise, ensuring we uphold our standard of excellence.
Ongoing Certifications
Keeping our staff updated with the latest training methodologies is crucial. Providing them access to ongoing training opportunities not only fosters their professional growth but also underscores our commitment to education and continual improvement, setting an example for the kids we serve.
Cutting Costs for Athletes
In order to provide all of the above, the average cost per kid annually typically ranges from $8,000 to $12,000 for elite teams. This financial burden can severely limit the opportunities available to underprivileged children, hindering their development. Some of our families struggle to even provide proper shoes for their kids to play in. We are steadfast in our dedication to finding avenues for these deserving kids to access the resources they need to become the future leaders our society requires.
